Bigfork Chert is associated with the Bigfork Formation of the Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas and Oklahoma.  Primarily occurs as beds of highly fractured chert along eastern part of Sugar Creek Basin, Arkansas.  Named for Bigfork Post Office in Montgomery County, Arkansas.
